Ming Hsieh

Ming Hsieh is an experienced early childhood music teacher. She has taught music in numerous and diverse settings including music school, preschool, music camp, and private lessons. Mrs Hsieh was a long-time faculty member of the Early Childhood Music Department at Levine School of Music, Washington, DC where she taught early childhood music classes as well as group piano. She has specialized pedagogical training in Musikgarten, Kodaly, Dalcroze and Orff-Schulwerk. Professionally, Ming Hsieh is a member of the national organization ECMMA (Early Childhood Music and Movement Association) and is a Founding Member of the ECMMA's Greater Washington, DC Chapter. She is also a member of American Choral Directors Association and Music Teacher National Association. Mrs. Hsieh has been assistant music director of GCC since 2002.
